Jacqueline Mair

Jacqueline Mair (Jacqui ) studied Fine Art at the University of West of England UK and gained a first class with honours . She went on to take her M.A. in printmaking at the Royal College of Art London. U.K.   For over twenty years Jacqui worked for the worldwide known card company Roger la Borde and illustrated numerous award winning children’s books on folk lore with Albion Press, Ebury Press and Cico Books. She spent some time working abroad with Save the Children and UNICEF, running creative print workshops for children in Africa, Liberia and Columbia. Jacqui lives and works in Southsea, England after spending an extensive time abroad teaching in the United States and France. You can find her in her studio making art work , exhibiting with The Jackhouse Gallery in Portsmouth and running workshops for collage makers.
